I would have to say that this is probably the best B-Dubs that I have been to. The service is always very good and the food tastes the same at all of them so I can't say that that is better...but the service at this location is definitely the best that I have had at a B-Dubs. You know the drill at this place...wings, boneless wings, sandwiches, fried appetizers and BEER! I don't know about the other locations because I never really paid attention, but this one has about 10 beers on tap, if not more...it was insane! And, of course, tonight is $.50 boneless wings, so that's always a plus. Overall, a cool place to go, especially if you plan on sitting in the bar area, to have a few beers and some wings.

In my personal opinion- this is a pretty standard Buffalo Wild Wings. The sauces are good- my favorite of any wing place- and I believe their rating system is fairly accurate. I've eaten here and taken the food to go both several times over. I have always had friendly service- nothing over the top great, but friendly. I do like that they have a drink fountain where you can do your own refills/your server doesn't have to go back to the kitchen because on game nights this place is insane! During the first playoff hockey game this year we had to wait over half an hour to get through on the phone (I would have given up, but my husband was determined). As far as the rest of the food, I find it to be meh at best. The wedges are probably my second favorite- but BWW is all about the wings, so if you don't like wings, I would skip it for sure.

BWW roped me in this time by sending me a coupon promotion for a free snack-sized order of wings (5 wings) and being that it was late on Friday night (and as a side note, they're open till 1AM Fridays) and my boyfriend and I were wanting something to munch on after a movie, eh what the heck! Greeter fellow was nice, asked us if we wanted to sit at the bar (we had a satisfied giggle over being asked while the 2 girls in front of us didn't get asked, we must look old enough, win!) and got seated at a nice clean table (always a plus for these messy-food restaurants). Waitress took a bit of time to get to us, though I suppose people often wouldn't notice when surrounded by a bazillion TVs playing several different channels! As it is, she came, she was nice, we only got waters then soon placed our order for 20 traditional wings with 4 different sauces and, of course, bleu cheese. Wings were fine, not my favorite place to go for wings but still A-OK, we got the Teriyaki (sauce), Asian Zing (sauce), Lemon Pepper (seasoning rub), and Chipotle BBQ (seasoning rub). Good sauces/rubs! Waitress was good to check in on us every once in awhile and keep our waters filled. As I mentioned before, there are tons of TVs (duh, that's what BWW promotes), and though neither me or my boyfriend are really interested in what's going on on TV, we couldn't help getting roped in by the Rugby games (seriously, what popular American establishment puts on the rugby?! Awesome! New Zealand is a great team, btw), but they also had boxing on, baseball, some sort of outdoors show, etc. etc., enough to keep everyone happy. Also, sign up for their little online membership program. It isn't the best but every once in awhile they'll toss these free wing or fry offers your way that can be a nice little perk. All in all, not a bad experience. I don't understand charging for bleu cheese or ranch but otherwise prices aren't bad. Just don't forget to use the wetnaps supplied on the tables, you'll need'em!

I love visiting buffalo wild wings because of their variety of sauces, however the quality of the food varies from visit to visit. In an ideal world, I would wait until I've been to a place a few times before I review it. But due to my distaste for commitment, sometimes that just isn't possible. So there's no guarantee that I'll be back. That was by no means a euphemism for my relationships with women. I hit this (again, not a euphemism) location up shortly after they opened. I realize that's not a good time gauge employee competence, but even then, I was wishy-washy about the service. The bartender/server seemed all out of sorts. Even going out of his way to tell me how "tired" he was to try and justify being unprepared and not having the correct menus out, and forgetting key parts of my meal. Really, bro? You're talking to a grown ass man who starts work at the break of dawn, and you're complaining when your restaurant that opened at 11am, has only been open for a half hour? On the upside, he was actually pretty nice. He genuinely seemed like he was just having an off morning, and tried desperately to redeem himself with small talk. It worked to an extent. That extent being giving it 3 stars instead of 2.

Wings are a classic American food, and you got to get it right. Buffalo Wild Wings does just that. The meat in the wings is consistent, because they focus more on the different types of sauces (highly recommend honey BBQ). The service is average, but the atmosphere is where it is at. If you are looking for a good family dinner to watch some sports head to Buffalo Wild Wings!

Yes, I know, reviewing chain restaurants that everyone has been to is less exciting, and seemingly less valuable, but whenever something changes, it's nice to give a heads up to those that haven't been there in while. So met the guys on Sunday to watch the Cubs lose at BWW at Elgin, and the theme for the day seemed to be DRY - both good an bad. First, we had 5 different baskets of wings, and i am not sure if its due to congressional budget cuts or what, but they were all dry - very little sauce on any of them. The waitress had to bring extra sauce all around to fix it up, so not a terrible issue, but how hard is it to sauce wings? On the other hand, I finally tried the desert heat dry rub they are now offering, and that was pretty tasty. Dry on purpose is OK, but a spicy/smoky flavor that was delicious. So the good news is that BWW has not run out of new ways to serve wings (there's your investment tip for the week). Everything else was a little off though, so wondering if there is a new chef or just an off day?

I come here about twice a month for lunch and have always enjoyed my experience. Great options for sauce and seasoning means you can try something different every time. Attentive staff, good food, clean bathrooms, etc. Jaime is always our waitress and she always takes great care of us when we come in! If you're someone who comes here often, they have a great punch card system which saves you $5 after 5 punches. I've never been here to watch a sports event, but based on the number of TVs in this place (must be at least 35) I'd say it would be a great place to be on game day.

Everyone, My own imposed rules for any Chain Restaurant review: 1. Must visit at least three times. Two of which must be distinctly different formats; i.e. one weekday night and one weekend night. 2. Since the food should be the same everywhere, with the exception of regional items, the food category will only be judged on the quality of the expected food (i.e. temperature, consistency, and amount). 3. Ratings are based on a 10 point scale with 5 being average, which does not mean bad. What a score of 5 means is that the category meets expectations for that establishments format. Thanks. Buffalo Wild Wings - BeeDubs - South Elgin Location/Layout - 4/10: The South Elgin BWWs location can be found on Randall Road just south of Stearns. The interior is can need a good sweeping and the washroom garbage emptied but is usually well kept. Additionally, they do offer the usual surroundings that you have come to expect at BWWs including a ton of TVs, both projection and flat panel, with a ton of different sports options, several coin operated games for the inattentive parents to baby sit their children, and NTN. The main issue though is the parking and waiting area for this location, both of which are way too small. The parking area is shared with the other shopping options connected to the restaurant and also directly next to the restaurant. The interior waiting area is connected to the pick up station and has one bench and enough standing room to accommodate 5 people comfortably, which is usually significantly less than are in the area, making it an absolute chore to get your name in or pick up a to go order. Service - 5/10: Service at this location is average. Servers are typically very quick with requests, although accuracy can vary, which may be the result of the kitchen but ultimately reflects on the servers since they are the ones in charge of order taking and delivery. This may be made worse by the fact that rarely does your actual server deliver your food. Refills can be hard to get, especially if you are enjoying something high on the scoville scale, but fortunately the fountain can be used by patrons themselves; but should not have to be in my opinion. While the servers can be missing from time to time, the team leaders in the white jerseys are almost always roaming but at times can be overbearing as they try to get you to sign up for something. Moreover, the team leaders usually defer to the servers for food and drink requests which makes getting that much needed refill even more complicated. Food - 4/10: The food at this location is hit or miss. The sauces can be non-existent on some wings (bone-in or boneless) and absolutely drenching others. Orders, especially non-wings, routinely come out incorrect but are usually rectified but this requires others in your party to wait and have cold food or eat and then watch you eat once your order is fixed. We usually just say never mind and take it incorrect to avoid delays. Only once was anything offered to accommodate an incorrect order. Additionally, they will almost always charge for any add ons (even on regular days not just Bone In Tuesdays and Boneless Thursdays) for any extras. This is a pet peeve of mine, especially if you have a large wing order and are asking for an extra dressing. What makes it worse is the servers do not tell you about the up charge and you only realize the expense after receiving the bill. The sides at this location, especially if you upgrade to wedges or any other upgrade option, are always short compared to other area locations. Lastly, having dined at BWWs quite frequently I have grown accustomed to the size and shape of the usual items and am absolutely amazed by the reductions in Bone in Wings on Tuesday and the nuggets you receive on Boneless Thursday, especially given that you receive no sides (i.e. ranch, blue cheese, celery, etc...), which is why we have stopped coming for these "special" days. Drinks - 6.5/10: While there are issues with the food on occasion, the drinks are above average for this caliber of restaurant. They offer standard fountain options and also have a full bar. Mixed drinks vary and are over priced but the beer selection is very solid. BWWs offers a huge selection of draft beers at very reasonable pricing and always has at least one or two monthly specials. Overall Experience - 5/10: In general BWWs can be a great place to meet up with people to enjoy a game, have a bite and drink, or even host fantasy drafts as we have in the past. Just hold your expectations in line and you should have an overall good experience.

I have given this BBW chance after chance but they still fail. The past two times I have called ahead to place an order for pick up. I place my order and they tell me 20 minutes. When I get to the restaurant 20-25 minutes later, I still had to wait 20 minutes to get my food. When I got it home after a 6 minute drive, the food was ice cold. The first time this happened, the manager gave me a credit for an upcoming purchase. Fine. The second time this happened, I emailed the manager directly (since I had his email from the last issue). This time, there was no email back. No phone call. Nothing. This proves that the manager, MIKE, doesn't care about his customers. I was not the only person in the pick up area waiting way beyond the promised time. This happens a lot. This kind of poor service is NOT limited to take out. A time before this, I had to actually walk up to a waiter asking for assistance. Then I had to go to their soda machine to get my own refill since they ignored our table. This is not indicative of all BWW but this is clearly the result of poor management. Again the fault is on Mike, the manager. I suggest passing up this BWW. You have more options that are better in the area.

I have given this BW3 a number of tries, but they have pretty much failed every time. On numerous occassions, I have been told 15-20 minutes for pickup, only to show up and wait for another 10-15 minutes upon arrival for my wings to be ready. Tonight, I received 18 wings that had hardly any sauce on them whatsoever. Tasteless fried chicken wings. Blah. Called the mgr. to complain, and to his credit, he was cordial and will be sending out some coupons. I would be hesitant to order from this location again, normally a pretty big fan of BW3, but I think my next order will go to Wing Stop or Nick's Pizza.

Nice, local place to watch all the hot sports going on. I like going here when I don't wanna go anywhere far. Service is always good. Drinks are inexpensive. The bad thing about Buffalo Wild wings is that their price for the wings specials keep going up. It's still good to eat every now and then though!

This is my favorite location! The atmosphere is perfect, the waiters are friendly, the food is always fresh! Plus their service is fast. I'm always satisfied and I look forward to coming here. I always get the Fried Pickles for appetizer, then the boneless desert heat wings. They taste so perfect, every time! I've been to the one in Schaumburg and Bloomingdale. Had a couple of bad customer experience in Schaumburg. (Cold food, long wait to order, wrong order, & we got forgotten once). I've been to the Bloomingdale location twice and both times they took very long to attend us. If you had to choose what BDUBS to go to, go here!!!

Food- I really dig the spicy garlic, honey barbecue, and desert heat wings. The fries are always solid and the pulled pork nachos are good. Service- very good service, but the food takes longer than it should sometimes Decor- all the TVs are an awesome factor to have and everything else that makes it a great place to watch sports

Not pleased lately with bww. They have made several changes that do not appeal to me as a customer. When they changed the burger patty from a great juicy burger to the shoe leather they server now, I was mad. If you ask them to cook the burger medium, they won't!! Why not??? Every other place asks you and then prepares it the way you want it. The next problem I have is they switched from the best tasting soft drink "COKE" to the garbage that they serve now. I'll give you a hint it starts with the letter P. On a good note I love their wedges, soft pretzels and cold beer.

Ordered food for carryout and they did not put any sauces in the bag. They were also having an issue with the computers...the person at the front counter was very nice though...

Food was good, as expected. Most if the staff was friendly. It was quite muggy and warm in the building. Being a 90 degree day outside, one would assume the logical thing to do would be crank up that a/c. Lack of air circulation made us eat fast and leave fast.

I visit this BWW a lot due to the location, they staff has had a few changes the last few months and I think lost some of the personal touch to make the place fun. I also travel a lot for work, trying BWW's all over the US and The South Elgin site is nice, but food is inconsistent and they seem to skimp on sauce, no reason as I need to order more. Beer selection is awesome, being a regular the team there points out new ones for me to try. My favorite is the Undercover Shut Down Ale !!!

What can you review about a national chain? We've been to a de different locations and they are all the same. Consistent good food quality, good service and a clean atmosphere. Love the chicken sandwich, my wife and daughter like the wraps and of course the wings are always good. This location is good and I'd recommend it any time.

This is close to home for us, so we hit it once a month or so. Normally we sit in the bar section and get wings (duh), and beer, (double-duh). There are a bunch of different sauces for the wings and we've done them all. The top-hots are super hot, but edible. Asian Zing and Caribbean Jerk are pretty good. The staff also have a couple non-menu concoctions of their own, which are pretty good also. The beer selection is pretty good also and they'll give you little tasters if you ask for them, which is cool, as we like to sample stuff. If you talk to the bartenders when they're not flying they'll give you a run-down on the beers available and toss little mini samples at you. Staff has always been friendly. Service can be a bit slow when the place is bombed out, but overall it's been pretty good. It's not a 5 star restaurant but you know that going in and if you don't it's not their fault. It can be crowded, it can be loud, but it's a sports bar type place, so that's to be expected. Overall they do a pretty good job here and I'd recommend it for what it is in terms of it's genre....

We have visited this BWW in the past and usually have had a good experience when we have eaten in. However, when we have ordered carryout, we have experienced a few troubling aspects about the front end counter and staff. The first time was a few weeks back. We arrived to get our food and the girl was showing it to us and one of the chicken wings fell out of the box. Not a big deal at first, but she picks it up with her hand, tosses it back into the box, and attempts to give it to us. After she handed it to us, she then asked if we wanted to get a replacement. Working in the service industry, that should not have even been a question. And she should have just done it. That was really bizarre that she even attempted to give it to us in the first place. The second time we got take out, we noticed a lot more. The other day, we were coming back into town and just needed a quick dinner. We called ahead and placed an order for pick-up at a certain time (more than an hour from when we placed the order). We made good time and arrived at BWW a little early. Obviously the food wasn't ready quite yet - that was okay. So, we paid and just sat down, slightly relaxing after a long car ride. There were a couple of things that surprised us with the front end staff. For starters, they brought out another order for pick-up. They just kept it on the side, apparently waiting for whoever ordered it to come by. Having worked in food service, shouldn't this food been left at least under a heat lamp? It was bound to get cold by the time the person arrived (who didn't by the time we left). Then, they started to fold up silverware in napkins - another standard front end thing to do, but none of them were wearing any sort of gloves when handling it. Again, from working in the service industry, that's a no-no. But the most disappointing thing with our visit is that we waited an extremely long time to get our food. While we did arrive early, we didn't actually get our food until a good 15 minutes after our per-arranged pick-up time (about 20 total). It almost seemed as if they forgot to put our order in and made it once we got there - which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. When the food did arrive, the high school kids running the front end counter really weren't that apologetic about it instead claiming that the food just came out (as if that made the delayed wait okay in the end). I hate to bring the place down. When we eat in, the service is pretty accommodating. However, this is disconcerting about the front end staff. Hopefully, this can be corrected so the staff and the people there are better at what they do. We will come back here, but will do a second guess if we want carry-out.

Last time I went here was about 2 months ago. Sine then the place has been through some changes. first thing we noticed were the cheap folded photocopy quality menus. Several long time favorite menu items where missing. The nail in the coffin for me was the fact that my wife's beer was more expensive here than in downtown Chicago. I doubt we will be back and if this is the same change at the franchise stores I won't be back at those either.

Compared to other BWWs, this one is just average I would have to say. I only really go to this one to meet up with friends and watch UFC fights. So on that note, there's a good amount of TVs which is good for viewing events. Though if you have a bad spot, then it's hard to get a good view unless you look across the room. They should throw some TVs in the middle of the dining area if possible. Staff from what I remember was pretty nice. We were there for like 3 hours and only ordered one thing so our waiter couldn't have been too happy about that but still asked if we needed refills or anything which was nice. I'd have to agree with one of the other reviews though, I think it's all BWW but come on, if you're going to advertise the sauce, at least give enough sauce to cover the chicken. and 75cents for ranch? are you serious?

Blue Moon beer was surprisingly good, as well as the Asian zing boneless chicken wings. Not to greasy cooked just right. Sat in bar section and waitresses Heather provided excellent service and was very attentive. Would definitely return in the near future. Bathrooms also clean.

We have been coming here for years, always good food. They will always change a screen so you can watch the game you want and have NTN.

Very good service and the bartenders are welcoming. Started coming here instead of the Geneva location because the service is wayyy better. Worth the extra 10 minute drive.

Love this location BWW! Always have great service and usually fast as well. When I order to go, it is usually done before or right on time which is prefect. Never fail to do a good job!

Great customer service, awesome wings as always.

Great place to enjoy a couple of drinks and watch a sporting event if your an adult. Food is very good and they have a bunch of different hot wing sauces. My personal favorite is the boneless honey BBQ wings.
(4)Phong S.
Food is good and the same but their service is terrible and slow. Whether you're dining in, carrying out, the service is ALWAYS SLOW.
